Oppo is all set to introduce its next-gen affordable 5G smartphone in India. Dubbed as Oppo A53s, Oppo just revealed its launch date and it’s April 27th when the mid-range 5G smartphone will be made official. According to the confirmed bits, we do know that the device will feature a Dimensity 700 5G SoC which also powered Realme Q3i 5G. It carries a price tag of less than Rs 15,000/- as per Oppo’s official tweet.
Oppo A53s 5G Expected Price
Well, Oppo A53s 5G is buzzing on the internet as it had claimed to launch one of the most affordable 5G-supported smartphones in India priced under Rs 15,000/-. It hasn’t revealed the price tag yet but it is running a contest asking users to predict the price tag and win goodies from the Chinese smartphone giant.
Oppo A53s Specifications
Apparently, there aren’t many confirmed pieces of specifications when it comes to Oppo A53s and thus, we have to rely on rumors, speculations, and reports. Apparently, the device launched as a successor to Oppo A53 5G, is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC. It is manufactured on a 7nm node and has a dual-cluster design with two Cortex-A76 high-performance cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 power-efficient cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
The device is expected to arrive with 6GB and 8GB RAM variants and the storage is expected to be 128GB and above. It is likely to arrive with Android 11-powered ColorOS 11.1 out-of-the-box. Oppo A53s 5G is expected to arrive with a 90Hz display with a triple camera setup at the back arranged in a rectangular-shaped camera rig. It’s probably using a 64MP+13MP+2MP+2MP setup at the back while the front is speculated to get an 8MP snapper.
Other details include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5m headphone jack, Bluetooth v5.1, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac support. The Oppo A53s 5G is likely to get a beefy 5,000 mAh battery under the hood supplied with 10W. Note that whatever information is rumored or speculated may change so take it with a pinch of salt.
