Even if Google hasn’t released the Android 12 official stable version yet, it seems that some of the leading OEMs are going pretty well. Samsung has decided not to wait further and released the much-awaited Android 12 Beta on top of One UI 4 Beta for its Galaxy S21 series models in the U.S. market right now. The update has started rolling out today and all the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra users with unlocked models in the United States will be able to receive the beta update via the Samsung Members app.
It’s expected that more devices will be added to the beta program list in the upcoming weeks or months. But the Samsung Galaxy S21 series users with unlocked carriers in the US are lucky enough to go with the beta program as of now. Samsung has also mentioned that some other markets will also receive the same very soon that includes the UK, China, India, Germany, Poland, and South Korea.
According to Dr. TM Roh, President & Head of Samsung Electronics Mobile Communications Business,
As we’ve done with every iteration of our One UI, we’ve listened to our users to understand the tools and innovations needed to create a better, more reliable, and enhanced overall user experience.
One UI 4 Beta Program Released
The One UI 4 Beta Program is based on Android 12 Beta that allows users to try out all the new and improved features on the Samsung Galaxy S21 series devices right now. Those who’re participating in the One UI 4 Beta, can give feedback about new features, design overview, and all kinds of noticeable bugs too. So, Samsung can easily gather all information from those feedbacks to improve or fine-tune the One UI 4 user experience and fix all bugs before the stable release later this year.
One UI 4 beta participants will be able to experience comprehensive customization capabilities and privacy controls that empower them to design their ideal mobile experience – one that’s uniquely suited to their individual needs and allows them to express who they are.
