Apple is Reportedly Discontinuing the iMac Pro, Selling Only The Existing Stock

Apple released this device, ie. the iMac Pro, back in 2017. The company had then deemed it “the most powerful Mac ever.” It featured advanced capabilities for graphics and 3D rendering, designed especially for creatives and professionals. The all-in-one computer has been one of the most-liked machines from Apple among its users. However, in the past few years, it hasn’t received any major updates, but it wasn’t expected that it’ll get discontinued.

Back in August, the technology giant debuted its 27-inch iMac, which the company said could be configured to address the needs of professionals. Because of this, the model has been the go-to iMac option for most customers. However, the company made another option available for users who desire a boost in performance and expandability — the Mac Pro. It’s basically a Mac tower that exceeds the capabilities of the iMac Pro.

While the company has stopped manufacturing new iMac Pro computers, you can buy the existing ones before the inventory runs out. This means that you have a limited time to own an iMac Pro for you. However, if you want something new from Apple then the company is gearing up for a new release of iMacs this year. According to Bloomberg, Apple will soon release new iMacs to replace its 21.5-inch and 27-inch models.
