In the last few days, a lot of media outlets have reported that the popular Korean actor Park Seo-Joon may be a part of the cast of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to the website soompi.com, an industry source has said that Park will be a part of the cast in the ‘The Marvels,’ a sequel to the 2019 movie Captain Marvel. The upcoming movie is headlined by the Oscar-winning actor Brie Larson and is scheduled to released next year on November 11, 2022. The production will start soon.
Not just soompi.com, another entertainment portal, has also said that the actor will be leaving for the United States in the second half of this year. He played a small role in the Oscar-winning movie Parasite and is currently working on a disaster thriller called Concrete Utopia with co-stars Lee Byung-hun and Park Bo-young.
However, when soompi.com approached Park Seo’s agency Awesome ENT, they declined to comment on the same. Larson might play the role of Captain Marvel. The Marvel will be directed by Nia DeCosta, while other cast members include Teyonah Paris and Iman Vellani playing the role of Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan.
While we are as excited as you are to see Park Seo-Joon in the next installment of Captain Marvel, what role will play is still unknown. Disney+ is looking forward to making a show based on the comics sometime later this year.
