While working on the popular music TV show “Glee”, Heather Morris has commented on Lea Michele’s unsettling behaviour.
In 2020, the Glee actress Samantha Ware said that Lea Michele made her ‘television gig a living hell.’ At that time, Michele was pregnant with her first child, apologized for her behavior saying she was ‘really sorry’ and that she has learned from her experience and will try to be better in the future.
Here is what Lea Michele said in her apology,
Whether it was my privileged position and perspective that caused me to be perceived as insensitive or inappropriate at times or whether it was just my immaturity and me just being unnecessarily difficult, I apologize for my behavior and for any pain which I have caused We all can grow and change and I have definitely used these past several months to reflect my own shortcomings
Heather Morris spoke out about her time working with Lea on Wednesday’s episode of “Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino.” Heather also tweeted in response to Lea Michele’s apology from June 2020 and commented that she should be treated the same way she disrespected others.
We absolutely could’ve stepped up and gone to the Fox execs and said how we felt about the situation and nobody really did. Now we are living in a culture where it’s acceptable to go do things like that whereas I think many people were very scared,” Morris said. I know genuinely I didn’t feel like it was my place and I don’t know why because I was a cast member like everybody else. We all deserve to feel comfortable on a set.
Back then, people criticized Morris for being too cryptic about her messages, which she defended by saying that Michele was pregnant when all these things were happening.
It’s true, and I don’t know if maybe we were victims of bullying, and that’s a typical victim thing to do is to blame yourself, which is what people were saying, but it also is very true, and the only person who was honest about it was Naya (Rivera).
