If you have ever wondered how big the 108MP camera sensor is, then this video will surely grab your attention. A popular YouTube channel by the name of JerryRigEverything has uploaded a video tearing down the Realme 8 Pro. Zack from JerryRigEverything is particularly famous for tearing down numerous smartphones, and in his latest video, he did the same with Realme 8 Pro just for the sake of it.
There are not a lot of cheap phones powered by the 108MP camera sensor. Most of the phones with the sensor are either high end or flagship phones.
The Realme 8 Pro has a plastic back, thus making it easy for Zack to break open the phone and tear it apart. If it were glass, it would be much harder since it would be susceptible to breaking or shattering. Although the phone isn’t IP rated or anything, surprisingly, the phone has partial waterproofing over the mic hole, so it will surely survive some amount of water. Moreover, there are no foams covering the speakers and making them seem louder than they actually are.
The teardown also reveals that that the 2MP cameras are the same size are the fingerprint reader, which is miniscule. Finally, the video also compares the Realme 8 Pro’s camera to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
