Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is all set to release its upcoming smartphone called iQOO Z5x most probably in October 2021 as per reports. It’s tipped to get MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset apart from 44W fast charging support, and more before its official launch. The iQOO Z5x has appeared on the 3C certification website recently and a JD.com listing has also been on the lights for a while.
As per Weibo reports, it’ll be a successor of the iQOO Z5 or iQOO Z3 model. The upcoming iQOO Z5x will have 5G connectivity and keeping in mind mobile gaming, there could be more features in it. However, it seems that the Z5x will have MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC (MT6877) which may be lower in terms of performance than the Snapdragon 778G processor that’s available on iQOO Z5.
The Z5x carries a model number V2131A that also has been spotted on the IMEI database as well as on the Google Play Console listing recently. Additionally, the handset could have a centered punch-hole camera display, around 4,500mAh battery, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage variant or higher, a 6.6-inches display, a quad rear camera setup that consists of a 64MP+8MP+5MP+2MP lens along with a 16MP selfie camera.
Also expected to be unveiled soon after the release date are a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a linear vibration motor, and dual speakers with surround sound.
