Motorola has recently confirmed on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo that the company is working hard to release its first-ever 200MP camera smartphone in July 2022. Previous reports were suggesting that Motorola is working on a device called ‘Frontier’ which is all set to bring a “new benchmark for image experience”.
Though the Lenovo-owned smartphone brand hasn’t revealed the device model number or name yet which will gonna include a 200MP camera setup on the rear side, there are a few hardware specifications that are leaked online. This so-called ‘Motorola Frontier‘ model is expected to come with a Samsung’s HP1 sensor for a stunning mobile photography experience.
So, the 200MP rear camera setup on the Frontier model is also expected to have a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. Whereas the selfie camera is expected to be a 60MP sensor on the front side to blow away your mind.
On the other side, multiple rumors and leaks are suggesting that the Motorola Frontier model may include 8GB/12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage option. The device might have a 6.67-inches Full-HD+ OLED panel with a 144Hz screen refresh rate. It may be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor out of the box.
Until Motorola releases more info or a teaser of the device, we’ll have to wait further. Meanwhile, more & more leaks or rumors will gonna arrive quite often which can also provide some details.
