Poco F3 Renders Leaked Ahead of March 22 Launch, Design of Phone Revealed

Xiaomi’s upcoming POCO-branded smartphone — the POCO F3 — is set for launch on March 22nd. Now, ahead of the device’s tomorrow’s launch, renders of the handset have been leaked revealing the design of the upcoming phone. The phone is rumored to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K40, which seems to be true while looking at the leaked renders. POCO F3 will debut globally alongside the POCO X3 Pro, whose design was also seen through a render that leaked last week.

Tipster Ishan Agarwal shared the render of the POCO F3 on Twitter saying the phone will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. However, other details of the smartphone are still a mystery, but the leaked renders seem to confirm that the phone is indeed a rebranded Redmi K30. So, it is expected that most specifications of the POCO F3 will be somewhat similar to the Redmi K40. Check out more about the leaked design renders and expected specifications of the Poco F3 below.

POCO F3 Leaked Renders Reveal Redmi K40-like Design

While looking at the render, you can see that the POCO F3 appears to be identical to the Redmi K40. The front side of the POCO phone suggests a center punch-hole camera and an edge-to-edge display. While at the rear, there appears a rectangular camera module that will house a 48-megapixel triple camera system and an LED flash. Further, the phone is suggested to come in three colors — Black, White, and Blue — with the rear panel expectedly made of glass. The right side of the frame hosts a power button and two volume keys.

POCO F3 Specs, Features (Expected)

If the POCO F3 really turns out to be the rebranded version of the Redmi K40, then most specifications are also expected to remain similar. The Redmi K40 was launched with the Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Tipster Ishan has also confirmed the presence of the Snapdragon 870 chipset in the coming POCO F3. Further, the Redmi phone sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of optics, the POCO F3 is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. The other two lenses could be an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 5MP telephoto macro lens — all housed in a rectangular module. At the front, there will be a 20MP selfie camera for taking portraits and video calling. Further, the phone could pack a 4,520mAh battery, which is the case in the Redmi K40, with support for 33W fast charging. The processor is a 5G-supported chipset which suggests that the POCO F3 will support 5G connectivity.

Like said in the beginning, the POCO F3 will launch on March 22nd, which is tomorrow. So, we will see what the phone actually has to offer tomorrow when POCO unveils its new device officially.
