Realme GT Neo2 confirmed to launch on September 22, 2021

The much-awaited Realme GT Neo2 is all set to officially launch in China on September 22, 2021. Recently the company has revealed a teaser image for the launch of this model. After plenty of leaks and rumors, the company has confirmed the official release date in China which was expected. However, there is no confirmation on the device pricing and availability options yet. We can expect that Realme will reveal both the pricing and availability options during the launch event.

While the Realme fans in India may get a new or rebranded in the name of Realme X9 Max by the end of this year most probably. If we recall, the original Realme GT Neo arrived in India as the rebranded Realme X7 Max. So, the rebranding chances are higher than releasing the same model in both Chinese and Indian markets. Now, ahead of the launch of Realme GT Neo2, here you can take a quick look at the device specifications below.

Realme GT Neo2 Specs (Expected)

The Realme GT Neo2 specs have already been mentioned before as per multiple leaks or rumors. It could come with a 6.62-inches Full-HD+ display, a 120Hz refresh rate. The Realme GT Neo2 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. There is no confirmation where it’ll support storage expansion or not. While the handset will likely come with Android 11 out-of-the-box on top of Realme UI 2.0 skin.

Talking about the camera segment, the Realme GT Neo2 will feature a 64MP primary rear camera setup, having an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens with an LED flash. On the front side, it’ll have a 16MP selfie camera. Whereas the smartphone will have a 5,000mAh battery with 50W or 65W fast charging support reportedly.

What about the Teaser Image?

As per the teaser image, the Realme GT Neo2 is set to launch in China on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 2 PM local time (11:30 AM IST). The teaser image includes a black shadow of the device from the side that indicates curved screen edges and a sleek design for sure. While the front camera cutout isn’t visible but it should be on the top left corner of the display as a punch-hole cutout. So, just wait for a week, and all the leaks will be cross-checked.
