Samsung is rolling out a new update to its proprietary application “Good Lock”, in which a bunch of tweaks and customizable options will be available directly on the Samsung Galaxy devices running on the One UI 4.0 skin based on Android 12. Additionally, the company is updating its QuickStar module with support for Android 12 over One UI 4.0, which means those with the Good Lock app and QuickStar module will reap a lot of benefits.
From the moment the One UI 4.0 Beta program launched, Samsung Galaxy S21 beta testers had access to Good Lock. While not all Good Lock modules are compatible with Android 12 (One UI 4.0) or its UI changes, it appears that the list of supported modules will increase in the upcoming months once the beta testing phase is over.
QuickStar is one of the popular Good Lock modules that allows the users of Samsung Galaxy devices to customize their quick panel, which has been updated to v5.0.00.00 for the One UI 4.0 skin. The APK versions of both Good Lock 2.1.02.2 and QuickStar 5.0.00.0 can also be downloaded from the linked links directly if you’re interested.
If you are not in a rush, we recommend you wait until the One UI 4.0 stable version is released. It will then become more stable and optimized for you as an end-user.
