The Suicide Squad has been the talk of the town and everyone wants to get a piece of it. For those who haven’t watched it yet, social media has become a call from heaven. The cast and crew of The Suicide Squad are keeping us indulged with their constant sneak peek into the behind-the-scenes of the long-awaited movie, satisfying the fans.
Fresh with its just-released sneak peek is James Gunn. The writer/director of the movie who has never been scared to go out of bounds has given us cinematic trash poetry, that the first reviewers just can’t get enough of.
Seeing such a great early response to the movie the writer-director took to Twitter to share with us a behind-the-scenes photo from the film, to keep the buzz going. The photo captures David Dastmalchian (Polka-Dot Man), John Cena (Peacemaker), Daniela Melchior (Ratcatcher 2), Idris Elba (Bloodsport), and Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag) sitting undercover at a bar.
After the tweet was made many fans congratulated the director about creating such a smashing movie as well. The praise could be seen loud and clear and fans’ excitement was something to be noticed. Here are a few responses to the tweet on The Suicide Squad:
The supervillain evil romp, The Suicide Squad, is all set to release in theatres and streaming on HBO Max, on August 5th, 2021. It will feature some supervillains who will join the new Task Force X just to get out of the hellhole and highly dangerous Belle Reve prison. The Task Force X would be led by the coldest DC villain ever seen Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). Some old faces would also be seen in this craziest ensemble Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn would break every record with her oscar worthy acting, Joel Kinnaman as Colonel Rick Flag would play his charming part successfully, and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang from 2016’s Suicide Squad would also be joining the team.
New faces would include Idris Elba as the leader of the misfit’s Bloodsport, John Cena as the psychotically patriotic Peacemaker, the always hungry King Shark voiced by Sylvester Stallone, The Thinker would be played by Doctor Who Peter Capaldi, T.D.K played by Nathan Fillion, Pete Davidson as Blackguard, Alice Braga as Sol Soria and many more.
It seems like James Gunn has nailed it with his ensemble recipe and now all that is left to see is how it’s all going to play out.
