OPPO-owned smartphone brand OnePlus seems to launch another new device model called OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in the upcoming weeks. As per fans, OnePlus is simply trying to gather the budget segment market with more and more models. Leakster Yogesh Brar has recently mentioned some key specifications of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G model.
Now, it’s quite surprising to see that OnePlus has decided to launch a 120Hz refresh rate display on the device which is a great thing but unfortunately, it has an LED panel this time, not the OLED panel. Obviously, the term ‘Lite’ of the device name should be justified by any means. The handset offers Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, 64MP AI triple rear camera setup, 128GB onboard storage, etc.
Additionally, it has a bigger 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging technology. It’s worth mentioning that OnePlus even replaced the Dash charger with a VOOC charger which OnePlus fans may not like. Needless to say that OnePlus actually lost its value and trust among users after the merge which is affecting the sales as well. Though it’s controversial, the truth is harsh for all.
Talking about the display resolution, some reports are suggesting that the Snapdragon 695 chipset is capable enough to run a 120Hz refresh rate up to a 1080P Full-HD resolution display. So, if you’re not a die-hard fan of AMOLED or OLED displays, then the 120Hz smoothness on an LCD display will also feel like butter. While the overall look and design apart from the rear camera bump are quite similar to other newly released OnePlus or OPPO models.
As per the leaked images, the handset might come in a Blue and Black color option. There is no specific pricing known yet. But the model should arrive under the ₹20,000 ($262 approx) price range which will make it a better deal with discounts or offers. Now, we’ll have to wait further to get more details and the release date.
