Xiaomi Mi 11 series and Redmi K40 Pro series are the first devices to receive Android 12

Google is finalizing the Android 12 update for Pixel that may come in the next few weeks even though AOSP has been released officially. It’ll obviously give a chance to other OEMs to get into the competition to push the latest Android 12 official beta update on their eligible device models. In this hurdle, Xiaomi has also unveiled two of its device series that will gonna receive the early beta testing stage soon. Yes! The Xiaomi Mi 11 series and Redmi K40 Pro series variants will be the first ones in the family to get Android 12 on top of MIUI skin.

It’s quite out of luck that Mi 11 Lite users won’t be able to take this advantage as of now. So, only Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Ultra model users apart from Redmi K40 Pro & Redmi K40 Pro Plus model users will receive Android 12 beta testing platform than anyone else in the Xiaomi lineup. The first early beta program will start in China which is quite obvious.
