American Horror Story is an American horror tv series created by Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy in 2011. It is currently running the cable network FX.
Now, the show has its own spinoff series called American Horror Stories.
Instead of starting with the pilot, the spinoff series has started with two episodes. The episodes are named “Rubber(wo)Man Part One” and “Rubber(wo)Man Part Two.” The series creators will release two more episodes every Thursday.
This is contrary to the story per season format other shows follow. American Horror Story will feature a total of seven episodes. It means that every set of episodes will have a different story that will help them cover more content.
However, the Rubber Woman is a figure who will be a part of all the episodes., indicating the character is someone of great importance.
The description of the tv show on the website says, “a teenager and her Dads move into a forsaken home with a grim past. As the family makes renovations, a darkness takes root within them.” It is the first part of the two-episode story. It looks like it will bear some resemblance to the Murder House seen in American Horror Story Season 1.
It is interesting to note that in the trailer, a character says, “you’ve heard all the stories about what happened here, right?” with some calling it “Amityville Horror on crystal meth.”
If we take a look at the cast, it will feature some new faces with some older faces making a comeback. Amy Grabow would be playing the role of Tipper Gore while Danny Trejo will play Santa. Additional cast of this tv series includes former American Horror Story stars Matt Bomer, Charles Melton, Naomi Grossman, and Billie Lourd, as well as newcomers Sierra McCormick, John Carroll Lynch, Ashley Martin Carter, Kaia Gerber, Aaron Tveit, Kyle Red Silverstein, Gavin Creel, Dyllon Burnside, Nico Greetham, Paris Jackson, Rhenzy Feliz, Madison Bailey, Belissa Escobedo, Kevin McHale, and Virginia Gardner. Ryan Murphy executive produces this horror tv series with Brad Falchuk, John J. Gray, Alexis Martin Woodall, and Manny Coto.
The series is exclusive to FX on Hulu right now. It is not available on the cable network. Right after the spinoff ends, the original show American Horror Story will start the 10th season of the series, American Horror Story: Double Feature. It is set to start on August 25 and will be available on FX, with a day’s delay on FX on Hulu.
