Recently, iPhone 13 CAD models surfaced online revealing the design of the upcoming devices in the series. But this was only what those colorless models could show, and they revealed the iPhone 13 Pro would have a similar design to that of the iPhone 12 Pro. Now, new renders based on those colorless CAD models have been shared online by a render maker, showing what the iPhone 13 could look like in full color. The highlight appears to be a smaller notch for the selfie camera and rearranged rear cameras.
According to render maker 9TechEleven, who tweeted colorized models of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, the upcoming iPhone series will have a smaller notch. The re-shared colorized CAD models, which were originally leaked by MySmartPrice and 91Mobiles recently, simulate how the two upcoming iPhones would look similar to — and different from — their iPhone 12 counterparts. Here’s what the resulting mock-ups reveal about what the 2021 iPhone family could look like:
iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro Leaked Renders (Colourized)
Like said before, the main highlight in color and with all the display and back details filled in is a smaller notch. This is a major difference between last year’s iPhone 12, and it also falls in line with the repetitive rumors of the iPhone 13 featuring a smaller notch. At the rear, the cameras have been rearranged this time. In the base iPhone 13, the two lenses appear to be rearranged into the diagonal corners of the camera block. However, the iPhone 13 Pro model appears to have a similar design as its previous counterpart, the iPhone 12 Pro.
Note that these details are just based on the CAD models, which means the iPhone 13 could look similar or entirely different. But if these prove to be true, then overall, this year’s Apple phones would look almost similar to their last year’s counterparts, except with the presence of a smaller notch. Speaking of the features, the iPhone 13 is also rumored to get improved cameras, a 5nm chipset, and a 120Hz display.
Since these are just rumors and speculations, we will know for sure when the iPhones launch later this year.
