A new One UI 4.0 Beta 3 Hotfix update coming soon to fix critical bugs on Galaxy S21 series

As part of its One UI 4.0 beta program, Samsung recently released One UI 4.0 beta update for the Galaxy S21 series. It brings several bug fixes, general improvements, more Material You features, a redesigned weather app, etc. However, the beta 3 version seems to have also included a few bugs that are considered critical. In order to address all critical bugs on the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung has promised a new One UI 4.0 Beta 3 hotfix update would be available soon.

On the Samsung Members official forum, Samsung’s Beta Operation Manager announced recently that a hotfix update based on One UI 4.0 Beta 3 is likely to be released soon to resolve critical bugs. It will still have the same firmware version G99xxXXU3ZUJG, and the bug will be completely fixed that is preventing some web browsers from working. Also included in the hotfix is a fix for issues related to sharing images via the Gallery app.

The “AOD does not appear even when the screen is turned off while using Samsung Music”, and the “app closes when certain files are executed” will also be fixed. In addition, the company advises users to update their Samsung Members app to the latest version and report any errors found.

Initially, the hotfix update will be released in South Korea, and it may take a few days for other regions to receive it.
