Recently, OnePlus confirmed that its upcoming handset — the OnePlus 9 Pro — will feature the fastest 50W wireless charging support. Now, ahead of the smartphone’s launch, the OnePlus Warp Charge 50W Wireless Charger has reportedly appeared on Wireless Power Consortium. Tipster Mukul Sharma spotted the new wireless charger on Wireless Power Consortium with model number C302A. The alleged listing also revealed the render of the charger with the company’s logo.
As per the listing, the design of the OnePlus 50W wireless charger looks similar to that of the earlier 30W wireless charger. The company had recently claimed that its new fast 50W wireless charging technology will charge the OnePlus 9 Pro phone battery from 1 percent to 100 percent in just a matter of 43 minutes. OnePlus in a forum post had said that the new wireless charging solution will bridge the gap between wired and wireless charging. If you don’t know, the OnePlus 9 Pro will also come with a 65W Warp Charge wired charging solution.
Charging Solutions in OnePlus 9 Pro
The new wireless charging solution in the Pro version of the upcoming OnePlus 9 series will come with two coils. One coil will be on the top and the other one on the bottom, which will enable users to charge the phone in both horizontal and vertical positions. Moreover, the OnePlus 9 Pro will have a customized battery cell that will produce less heat while charging. Further, there’s also a detachable cable that comes bundled with the OnePlus 9 series. Apart from the 50W wireless charger, the OnePlus 9 series also comes with the Warp Charge wired charging solution. This is said to charge the upcoming handsets fully in just 29 minutes.
The upcoming OnePlus 9 series will bring two devices, the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro. Both of them will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, QHD+ LTPO display with a smart 120Hz refresh rate, and Hasselblad-branded cameras.
