After the recent merge of OnePlus with the OPPO brand to make the software experience much better in the near future, the OnePlus 9 RT is expected to launch in India soon. The OnePlus 9 RT should be the sibling to the previous generation OnePlus 9R in terms of hardware specifications in 2021. Since most of us already know that there will be no OnePlus 9T to launch this year, the reports and leaks are coming out that the sub-brand is now working on the 9 series RT model.
Obviously, the upcoming handset is expected to be a successor plus sibling of the last-gen OP9R. But it seems that the company has decided to launch the particular model in India and China initially. Coming to the actual topic, recently the OP 9 RT model has been spotted on the Indian BIS website which clearly indicates that the handset will gonna launch pretty soon in India.
OnePlus 9 RT (MT2111) Leaked Details
Talking about the BIS website, the OnePlus MT2111 model number has been included and spotted recently which will be most probably the OnePlus 9 RT model (expectedly). The Indian tipster Mukul Sharma has mentioned on his Twitter account that a new OnePlus device has been found on the Indian BIS website with a model number ‘MT2111’ and it could be the OnePlus 9 RT.
Whereas the ’21’ indicates the year of the launch of this model 2021 most probably. The chances are also high that the OnePlus 9 RT will be the one and only upcoming OnePlus smartphone to launch by the end of this year expectedly.
OnePlus 9 RT – Expected Specifications
The OP 9 RT specification will be more or less the same as the OnePlus 9R. But the 9 RT will have a slightly upgraded camera department expectedly. The handset will come with a 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset just like its predecessor. According to the leaks, it’ll feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor that we’ve already seen on the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus Nord 2 respectively.
It’s worth noting that, the OP 9 RT will be the first OnePlus smartphone to ship with the latest Android 12 and OxygenOS 12 out-of-the-box. Whereas there are some other rumors that the OnePlus 9 RT will come up with larger 6.55-inches display size. It could have RAM up to 12GB and 256GB internal storage. Meanwhile, there could be a decent 4,500mAh non-removable battery inside the device that can be juiced up with a 65W fast charging support.
OnePlus 9 RT – Expected Price
It remains to be seen what the price of the OnePlus 9 RT in India will be, but it’s expected to be around 34,000 INR (about 2,999 CNY). We’ll have to wait further to know more about the device specs and the launch date in India.
