Earlier this week, Vivo Malaysia teased the Vivo V21 on its official website and revealed the company’s slimmest 5G phone. Now, the same arm of the company has revealed the official launch date of the upcoming two smartphones — the Vivo V21 and Vivo V21e. As per the official Twitter post by Vivo Malaysia, the company’s new V-series handsets will launch on April 27. To remind you, the Vivo V12 will be the slimmest 5G phone in the market and will feature a 44MP selfie camera with OIS.
Ahead of the smartphone’s launch, the device got certified in Indonesia earlier this month, which means the phone may come soon to Indonesia as well. According to several reports, the Vivo V21 will also launch in India on the same day, ie. on April 27. The confirmation about the launch date came within days after the smartphone was officially teased.
Vivo V21 Expected Specifications
Not much is known about the upcoming Vivo V21 5G, but according to reports, the handset will support Virtual RAM, which means you can “add” an additional 3G of RAM when required. The smartphone features 8GB of physical RAM, and with the additional 3GB virtual RAM, it goes up to 11GB.
Further, there’s a 44-megapixel selfie camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The Vivo V21 sports a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, which also comes with OIS. In India, the phone is said to be priced under ₹15,000 (roughly $335). We should get exact details about the Vivo V21 specifications when the device launches on April 27. Stay tuned.
