Vivo X Fold is imminent as the company’s first foldable smartphone in April 2022

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has recently announced its upcoming foldable smartphone which will be coming soon in April 2022. Vivo X Fold is now all set to be one of the first foldable devices by the company and the official teaser has been spotted on Weibo. Additionally, the company has revealed its upcoming Vivo Pad and Vivo X Note devices which should be more of a tablet.

Talking about the foldable device, Vivo hasn’t mentioned it specifically yet. But according to the released teaser video on Weibo, the company has hinted at some points or key features which may attract a lot of smartphone users or let’s say foldable smartphone fans in the market. But what’re those features or specs. Well, let’s take a quick look below.

Vivo X Fold Teased Specifications

As per the teaser video spotted on Weibo, the Vivo X Fold device will arrive on April 11, 2022, in China. It will have a “folding screen 2.0” that includes a curved external display. Some previous reports did claim that the X Fold could come with a 6.5-inches Full-HD+ OLED display and a 120Hz screen refresh rate. While the internal display is expected to have an 8-inches display with Quad-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz screen refresh rate.

It is expected that the smartphone will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. On the rear, the camera setup will be a 50MP primary camera + a 48MP ultrawide. There will also be a 12MP portrait camera with 2x zoom and an 8MP periscope lens with 5x zoom.

Additionally, users might get a vegan leather back panel that can look aesthetic and feel premium. There is nothing more mentioned in that teaser as of now. But the visual scenes are indicating that the device will have OriginOS Ocean out of the box. It’s the much important release by Vivo which offers more overhauled visuals and improved features.

However, there is no specific information available yet on when it’ll gonna be available in other regions. So, we’ll have to wait for it.
