Multiple devices from OPPO, OnePlus, and Realme to support 125W fast charging next year

In recent years, more and more devices and OEMs are entering into the fast charging competition, aiming to provide a higher fast charging technology to their specific range of smartphones. In the next year, multiple phones from OPPO, OnePlus, and Realme will support 125W fast charging. Some reports suggest that Oppo is working on bringing 125W fast wired charging to the OPPO Find X4 series in the next year.

Furthermore, the OPPO X4 and OPPO X4 Pro aren’t the only phones on the market, as OnePlus and Realme are also working on the 125W fast charging technology. In some reports, Realme has also revealed that it will release a handset equipped with fast charging, which should be called the Realme GT2 Pro.

Also, the OnePlus 10 Pro will like to have 125W fast charging in the next year alongside the OPPO Reno8 Pro. One thing we should clearly mention is that both Realme and OnePlus are owned by OPPO and all of them are from a single parent company BBK Electronics.

So the team’s plan to implement specific 125W fast charging technology for all three popular brands must work. Moreover, there’s an unknown Oppo N-series device that is due to be released soon and will have 125W fast charging. The majority of these devices are expected to be released in the first half of 2022. But no confirmation has been made yet.

It will be interesting to see how the 125W fast charging technology works compared to Xiaomi’s 120W fast charging technology (Mi 11T Pro). We’ll watch how that goes.
