Quarterback Cam Newton is still on the lookout for a new residence in the NFL, but his younger brother, Caylin Newton, has discovered his in school.
The former Howard University quarterback announced Friday evening that he is going to follow in his older brother’s footsteps and move to Auburn.
Newton will be instantly qualified after graduating from Howard earlier this month. He will have two seasons of college eligibility remaining after redshirting that the 2019 season.
Newton, a former walk-on, was a standout in the Soccer Championship Subdivision school situated in Washington, D.C, making MEAC Rookie of the Year honors as a freshman in 2017.
He completed 51 percent of his moves 5,061 yards, carried 322 occasions for 1,257 yards, and totaled 51 touchdowns over 21 matches over two seasons from 2017-18, which comprised a 43-40 win against UNLV that the largest point-spread mad in college football history (that the Rebels were preferred by 45).

The 6-foot, 195-pound Atlanta native has been called the 2019 MEAC preseason Player of the Year played just four matches before choosing to move transfer.
Cam Newton moved to Auburn after playing two seasons in Florida. He sat out a season and played with the 2010 season with the Tigers, winning the Heisman Trophy along with the national championship.

Auburn now has a quarterback in Bo Nix, in addition to a set of different players in the place in sophomore Cord Sandberg and 2020 signee Chayil Garnett. But that might not be all of Newton can perform he’s submitted movies to his Instagram page of him exercising and catching passes as a wide receiver.
