On the Twitter account of the anime adaptation by “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” a new trailer for the upcoming sequel film was released today, in which the opening song »Fire« by LiSA is presented. You can find the video below.
Sequel film starts in October
The film that has the title “Demon Slayer – The Movie: Mugen Train” (Japanese: “Mugen Ressha-Hen”) and adapts the arc of the same name, like the anime series, directed by Haruo Sotozaki (“Tales of Zestiria the X”) in Studio ufotable. Akira Matsushima again contributed the character design. The Japanese cinema release is for October 16, 2020 planned.
The associated 26-part anime series was broadcast on Japanese television from April to September 2019 and was shown on WAKANIM in the original sound with German subtitles in the simulcast. The German disc release starts on August 24th, 2020 at peppermint anime. The first episode is available for free in German from Anime2You.
The original manga by Koyoharu Gotouge was published in the “Weekly Shonen Jump” magazine from February 2016 to May 2020. Shueisha closes the series in December 2010 with 23 volumes. In Germany, the manga is published in German by Manga Cult.

Kamado Tanjirou is the oldest son in a family without a father. One day, when he goes to town selling charcoal, he spends the night there instead of going home in the evening based on rumors of an oni who is said to be floating around the area. When he comes home the next day, he realizes that there was apparently an Oni who had cruelly murdered almost his entire family and only barely survived his sister Nezuko.
