Readers sound off on compensation for families, AOC’s pup and the Brooklyn Democratic Party

Brooklyn: Re “King Frank” (editorial, Jan. 14): The late nice Murray Kempton as soon as wrote the position of a columnist, or on this case, editorial author, is to return down from the hills after the battle is over and shoot the wounded. My tenure as head of the Brooklyn Democratic Social gathering has seen elevated unity and variety as we welcomed insurgents’ challenges to liberalize our guidelines and transparency, even when the insurgents typically can’t take sure for a solution. The social gathering is in much better form than once I turned chair, regardless of the uninformed low cost pictures The Information continues to take. It’s time to flip over the reins to a brand new technology. Assemblywoman Rodneyse Bichotte might be a groundbreaking new chair, turning into the primary lady, and first Haitian-American, to guide any county Democratic group. Higher days are but to return.
